Starlight Children’s Foundation® Canada does what no medicine can do: create priceless smiles and memories for seriously ill children and their families. For over 30 years, Starlight Canada has been spreading joy to sick kids across the country through a unique blend of hospital to home programs designed for the whole family. With your help, together we can create more magic in-hospital, grant more wishes out-of-hospital and spread more sparkles across Canada!

First and foremost, our goal is simple: to raise money for Starlight Children, who are so incredibly deserving.

Starlight’s mission is nothing short of magical, and it’s a cause that holds a very special place in my heart. The goal of supporting Starlight children and families is the same goal my father, Stewart Kahan, devoted himself to through “Drive for Smiles.” It is his life’s legacy.

Logan was born on January 28, 2020. Less than three months later, my father passed away. I truly believe Logan was the reason my father stayed as long as he did. There was no way he was going to leave this earth without meeting his baby’s baby. Logan is about to turn 5 years old, and although their time together was short, my father’s memory continues to live on through Logan.

It feels only fitting that, for Logan’s birthday, we honor my father’s legacy by contributing to the incredible work he helped build—and my brother Shawn continues to carry on—in support of Starlight.
